LUFTWAFFE SIDE CAP

A nice worn condition Luftwaffe side/Overseas cap.
If you lift the sides of the cap you can see the difference in the colour due to wear and age.
The eagle to the front is all there but the stitching to the cap has come away a little otherwise fine.
The inside of the cap liner has been torn a little and gone through to a small slit on one side of the cap, looks to have been done with a n knife of some sort. This is hidden from the outside by the flap.
The inside is stamped for the maker Berlonia, Berlin and dated 1941
As with all my cloth items it has been U.V. Light tested with no issues.

LUFTSCHUTZ HELMET

A very nice,3 piece construction gladiator style Luftschutz helmet.
Very nice decal to the front, has remains of its details to the inside neck of the shell. Also retains its liner and chinstrap but this has been cut in two but still attached and has its buckles.
Recently found in a garden shed/garage, it had an old oily/grease cloth on top of it which covered the helmet. It was stuck to the helmet but when it was peeled off it has left a blackened stain to one side of the top of the helmet but it protected the rest of the shell, retaining most of its original colour and the decal.
