A Luftwaffe Flak badge citation,named to;

Unteroffizer Thomas Wetschnig
4.Batterie, Flak-Regiment 38. awarded on 10th January 1942 issued from Berlin and has the facsimile signature of Knights Cross Winner Hubert Weise.
The citation is a little dirty with age and has been taped(long ago) down the centre on the reverse to strengthen the crease where it has been folded.  read more

BRONZE PANZER ASSAULT BADGE

A nice, worn condition, bronze Panzer Assault badge.
Made of bronzed zinc, Though the award is unmarked most likely it is by Alois Rettenmaier, Schwäbisch, Gmünd, by the type of catch hardware. The pin is slighly bent and catch has been pulled possibly from when removed form its original owner? but is solid.
Retains some of its bronze finish though worn and a small sport of oxid...  read more

Single sided and in my opinion most likely used in a window or on a door or possibly a small pedestal flag/banner.
Still has its original drawstring for suspension, unmarked, approx measuring 29.58 cm (w) x 37,5 cm (h), only minor soiling with age other wise fine.
Ideal size for making a display backing.

A nice, worn condition 2nd Class Iron Cross.
Shows overall wear but still retains lots of its finish to the core.
Comes on its original piece of ribbon again in a used worn condition.
The ring is marked though worn you can make out the number 100 (actually clearer in hand than the photo) for the maker Rudolf Wachtler & Lange, Mittweida.  read more
