BRITISH HOMEFRONT AMBULANCE DRIVERS HELMET & CARRY BAG(Published)

A very nice, British Homefront Ambulance Drivers Helmet. The helmet comes in its rare and hard to find carry bag/cover. This helmet together with its bag has been published in excellent book, Helmets of the Homefront book by Adrian and George Blake, page 349.
The helmet has the stencil A to the front and back, so double stencilled. Still retains its liner and chin strap. The carry bag/cover shows some stains with age and the attaching strap press stud is in all working order.
The top of the helmet shows some light 'ghosting where the straps have been over it.
In all a nice complete item with the bag/cover being very hard to find.
